Pot. Burana Beauty 'Buenaflor'

This just opened fully yesterday. Honestly I wasn't sure what to expect... When I bought this from Kawamoto's in March, I was looking for Pot. Red Crab. They were sold out but one of the workers suggested I might like Pot. Burana Beauty. I'm pleased with my purchase :cool:

A "Beauty" for sure. Good job.

Striking. The leaves look quite dark, like it doesn’t get much sun. What are your conditions?

Lovely contrast to that bloom!

It actually has quite a bit of leaf burn from too much light. There are a lot of purple splotches, especially on the leaf tips.

It’s grown in an Exo-terra terrarium under this light:

Amazon.com : Global Star G(sg)50x6w Plus Horticulture Full Spectrum 300w Green LED Grow Light for Indoor Plant Growing, one Switch for Leaf, another for Flowering (Green) : Garden & Outdoor

I have a MistKing that keeps the humidity between 60-80%.

I forgot to mention that this has a very nice rosey scent.

Ours is blooming now for the second time this year. Was in bloom back in April and May. It is a very hardy medium size plant that can take a lot of light (full morning sun)and hot temperatures (in the 100F). Love how the red gets lighter and the yellow get darker and that sweet scent. Very nice plant

Such a striking hybrid. I love the color contrast. Very saturated. Great job!
