Help identifying orchid from bloom

Hi all, found this random flower in my Cymbidium pot, not sure what it is. Its foliage is similar to the Cym, just has shorter, thinner leaves and doesn't appear to have psuedobulbs. Flower stem is 18 inches or so. Given it's so similar I haven't picked it up until now (what an orchid pro).

Anyone able to advise what it is? I am assuming it plays nice with the Cym, given it is flowering and looks healthy. My mum gave me the Cym, and she does have a tendency to plant random things in pots :)

Looks like an Iris of some sort, not an orchid. Cool anyway.

Haha, thanks! Much to learn, I have.

yeah, I was thinking that it does not have the correct "parts" to be classified as an orchid. It is an African Iris, also called a fortnight lily. Scientific name: Dietes Iridioides
