Brassia Rex x Psychopsis?
 

Hello all! My name is Elijah, I have collected orchids for 15 years now, and love to track down the ‘weird stuff’. After a horrific greenhouse heater malfunction in January about 4 years ago, I have finally acquired enough new specimens to have justified construction of a new greenhouse and flow cabinet etc. (I lost everything).
I have a healthy Brassia that looks like it should flower at about the same time as my favorite psychopsis. I know that there have been two or three of these crosses carried out in the 60’s, but can’t seem to find much about them on the internet. Anyone out there have any information on these? I think I’m going to give it a go this year.

Know the feeling I lost 2000 plants in one night with a double frost but if you are keen you get back up. If you know someone with orchid Wiz you might find out more in terms of these crosses.

This lists Psychopsis papilio hybrids including Psychassia Thai Dancer registered in 1961.

That will be an odd cross. It would be interesting to see.
