Can you use juniper ?

Ummm... for what? Mounting plants? I wouldn't use anything with a lot of pitch fresh, but after a year or so seasoning it should be fine.

I have three plants mounted on juniper. So far they seem fine. It did sit for a year in a brush pile, so it was well dried.
