Red/brown spots on Phal. Bellina
Hello,
I have recently seen that the newest leaf of my Phalaenopsis Bellina is developing some spots. They were yellow at first and I thought it was just due to excess light; but they seem to be getting worse. It's currently around 29°C during the day and it goes down to 17°C during the night. I'm growing this plant in S/H. Would really appreciate help. Thanks in advance! http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...070e766034.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
I don't know what that is. Are you sure the roots are OK? Here is a good link for figuring out pest problems:

I referred to the link, but still want a confirmation. Thanks for your reply ^^ |
I would say check for bugs? Mites maybe? Just to be sure at least

Here's another clearer image.

I would check the underside of the leaves for mite damage.
|
Examine closely, looking for fine silky cobwebs and silvery patches of damaged tisse. And wipe the underside with a white paper towel or paper napkin, looking for reddish streaks of crushed mites. Mites themselves are so tiny they are almost too small to be seen without magnification.

I checked the leaves using a high powered magnifying glass but couldn't spot any mites. :(

Did you try rubbing a moist paper towel along the leaf?
That's a far better way to check for them than the magnifying glass |
