Lycaste fortuitous error?
 

I must have mistreated my Lycaste, vigorous new growth suddenly rotted. Too much water on leaves and not enough light I suspect. Now it is sporting multiple new growths (10!), so my mistake is going to give me a lot of propagation!

What should I do now? The current pot could have supported 1-2 new bulbs, now I'm going to have 10. Should I transplant to a larger pot and when?

Are you sure that you have new growths? Lycastes bloom from the bottom of previous years' bulbs, several bloom spikes from each bulb. That could be what you are seeing.

If it is really new bulbs sprouting, you are going to have a spectacular show next year!

Definitely new bulbs forming.
Potted up, I suspect will take longer to reach a mature size since there are so many (9).

Wow, that is going to be spectacular. I guess it is "tough love".
