quick question

I am getting ready to switch a few phals/Catts,
I just recieved my order of kelpmax. I had a few orchids in semi hydro back in the day. When I did my pre soak i always used KLN.

My question is can i substitute KLN with kelpmax for the pre soak and expect the same results.

i always soak the pellets in superthrive... i'm sure you can use any type of rooting chemical that isn't very heavy in organic, or salts...

I was wondering if kelpmax would suffice

I soak the LECA overnight before use. I use pure water (rain or RO) with Epsom salts added (magnesium sulfate.) I use about a teaspoon / 5ml powder per gallon / 3.78 liter. Per Ray's suggestions, this may replace harmful sodium ions with more beneficial magnesium ions.

When I transplant into S/H, I remove the plant from the old pot, clean off the roots, then dunk the plant into KelpMax solution while I prepare the pot and write the new label. Then I transplant. I give the first watering with KelpMax solution.
