Winter rest light
 

Do d. Parishii canes need light during the winter as it sheds all of its leaves down to bare cane which I deduce to mean that it conducts no photosynthesis during its winter rest before spring flowering?

I don't know, but I would place it in a cool bright place (monsoon climate).
I experienced to place my Catasetum bulbs under artificial light in the boiler room in the rest period. But they do better in the greenhouse, even in lower temps.
