Lealia anceps after snow, high winds and overnight freeze

Sorry last pictures from tapatalk did not work so well.

We have had several nights in the low 40s f, last night my wife got home late and woke me up and said look outside, and it was snowing everything had a light blanket of snow on it already, cars out front were covered. That was around 11am, when I finally went outside at 5am no snow totally dry and that was understandable due to the 40 plus mph winds we had, it was also 32f, burrr, that's cold for Los Angeles.

This tree was planted with orchids 2 years ago and they get shaded by Mimosa leaves in summer and full sun from November till around April, there is a drip/mist system that runs on a timer for them also, you can see it on tree as black tubing.http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...e294654b22.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...631e640823.jpghttp://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14...6eb5c52456.jpg

That's very cool!

Impressive! So the plant experienced no damage as a result of the weather, not the flowers even?

Wow I bet your tree is a sight to see when multiple plants are blooming. Well done!!

We have had three nights of below freezing weather, ice on cars in morning kinda stuff, tree offers very little protection/cover at moment. I keep monitoring plants and flowers, two more flowers have open since pictures were taken and plants show no damage yet.
