Tag Question on Vanda
 

My tag reads 'Vanda Luzonica x Vanda Luzonica 'purple''
Is this still a species or hybrid? I have never heard of Vanda Luzonica purple.

After a brief web search, I believe they would still be considered a species. They are just using two different color variants. Please note that the "L" in luzonica should be lower case (as it is a species). The Vanda luzonica 'purple' just refers to the color of that particular plants flower.

Vanda specialists, just correct me if I'm wrong.

Another Vanda tag question.. is there a hybrid name for Vanda Rothschildiana x Dr. Anek?
Or Vanda Aroonsri Beauty 'Robert' x Vanda Coerulea?

They sound interesting, would like to see them in bloom as well, how big are the plants?

I believe they are both bloom size. I will post a picture when I get a chance. I have been meaning to anyway since they are a little yellow in color. I think from too high light in the greenhouse I bought them from. I have had them about a month and one is dropping two leaves.
