Vanda sanderiana 'alba'
 

I find it unusual for this plant to be blooming now. For the last few years, it bloomed in October. Anyway, it was a surprise to see two spikes peeking out from the leaves in late January. The flowers have been in bloom for about two weeks. Unfortunately, the flowers on one spike are badly damaged from the rains and winds that we have had in Hawaii over the last two weeks. Otherwise, it would been a good entry for a show that we have this weekend.

This variety of sandee is quite hard to bloom. Nice plant you have.

Absolutely stunning. I always loved this variety. I still don't have one which is hard to believe for most people I know. :blushing:
