Bulbophyllum plumatum

This handsome little guy just came into bloom. Can't believe how different bulbo flowers can be from one to the other. I find them fascinating and of course want more! Thanks for looking.

Cool flower! I know what you mean about Bulbos. I'm growing fond of them too.
|
Love it, nice bright yellow! I have a red one that's putting out its first blossom ever....cant wait to see how it turns out.
|
Thank you both, I'm not great with colors...but I would call this one a greenish yellow for sure.
|
Gorgeous, Brenda! This has been on my 'wish list' for years.
By the way, this yellow type is no longer called Bulb. plumatum, it was segregated out as Bulb. thiurum a few years back. This species is rarer in the wild and cultivation than plumatum, itself not too common. Very nice, thanks for posting! :) |
This is one of my favorite bulbos. They're so delicate looking, yet fun at the same time!
|
Fantastic. Well done.

I bought this one and a few other bulbos last spring from Piping rock orchids and they are all thriving, I would highly recommend if you are looking for one!! |
