Hanging dendrobiums

Somewhere online I came across this photo of Den anosmum in a s/h container. I am in Hawaii and we call these honohono orchids. I am very curious as to how one would anchor a pendulum type orchid (or a heavy phal, etc) so it doesn't just slip right out of the leca. Any thoughts?

Anchor the base of the plant with the aid of a rubberized wire through the holes of the pot then fill it with the clay pellets....that way you can hang the pot and just let the full plant cascade downwards without fear of it falling out of the pot.

Great idea, thanks Bud! I look forward to trying this!
