thoughts on pleurothallis megalops in semi hydro?

They are on sale in a shop and the only medium I have left in hydroton. What are your thoughts of a pleurothallis in s/h?

Thanks

I think they'd be worth a try, I grow pleuros in straight coco chip, they don't mind being a bit wet

I have said it before, but it apparently bears repeating:

Pretty much ANY plant can be grown in S/H culture - I know someone who grows cacti, succulents, and caudiciforms that way - as long as you get its root system transitioned over properly, and the rest of your cultural parameters "mesh" with the technique.

Just because one person can-, or cannot grow a particular plant in S/H, has no bearing on whether you can or cannot, just as you asking me "Can you write left-handed?" (answer is yes) has no bearing on whether you can.

ok,i'll test it out in s/h first if it flops i'll repot in bark and s. moss.
