:hello all,
I am very proud to boast off my cymbidium, that I received as one bulb approx. a year ago. However, I can't get over the fact that it's flowered for me where I live. Nobody ever flowers cymbidiums that well except the few native types. Does anyone here know what type I've got, thanks in advance

Looks like my dayanum - tho there are some other similar looking, and I'm not an expert ;)

I believe you have a Cymbidium aloifolium. Are the leaves rigid and waxy?

If the leaves are rigid and waxy, I would agree with smweaver. The leaves are definitely not the finer leaves of dayanum.
