color dying orchids

I would like to know how to color live orchids?

Not sure...May I ask why you would want to?

If you only want the flowers to change color, I've read that you can inject a vegetable based dye into the base of the flower spike several weeks before they open. It would be the same as if you cut the flowers and placed them in a jar of dyed water. It works best on white flowers.

I'm assuming you don't want to dye the whole plant because that would inhibit it's ability to photosynthesize.

Use colored markers on the flower segments. It'll look just as natural as the dying process...
