I really love this one cause she just needs a lot of tlc more than any in my collection. I went on a weekend trip one time and missed one day of watering and her bulbs shriveled and she looked rather sad. Maybe because she is a young plant perhaps? I have another miltoniosis but she takes a beating i can treat her same with my phals but she is specimen size so maybe that's the reason. thoughts?

here she is

What pretty flowers.
The specimen sized plant is well established and can store water easily, whereas this young plant is still establishing itself in your environment and getting used to its media mix. After its blooms you will notice it will produce new growths and that means it is now happy in your environment.

I got it six months ago and after it flowered it didn't really show signs of growth and i repotted her and she still wasn't responding so i had to repot her again cause maybe it was the media she didn't like and this morning when i was watering her i saw a new growth!!! so that was a good news:)

The plant was resting. Most rest awhile while they build energy toward growing new shoots. It takes a lot out of them to flower and then they have to switch gears and produce new vegetative growth.
