:hello I just wanted to post some pics of my psychopsis. I am a first time grower of them and this is my first bloom. I am super happy :biggrin: I purchased this plant around christmas in the clearance area as it had finished blooming, not too bad for 70% off! I just wish that I had of grabbed the other one that was there. This one had a tag the other didn't. I didn't even know what it was other than some type of orchid. Here's my Psychopsis Papilio I hope you like.
P.S I posted a pic of new growth wondering what it was somone said it was a new pbulb. It looks to me like another spike :cheer: will post when it gets further along.

Great flower! psychopsis are a lot of fun. Looks like you got a great value!

Nice. Don't cut the flower spike after the bloom drops. This is a sequential bloomer.

Thankyou everyone! I will definitely NOT cut the spike. It did abort a flower so I was keeping my fingers crossed that this one would make it. I'd read they could sulk and I did a repot out of sphagg and into bark when I got it so I am sooo happy that I haven't killed it. Gosh if it wasn't for the help that I've gotten from the members here I never would have made it this far. Thanks so much again for all the help I've received here, I hope I can help new members as much as I've been helped. Thanks again for the looks!
