Knowle "Pre-Christmas Orchid Fair" - Photos
 

Ok, I should say first that these are actually photos from 2011. I didn't manage to get there this year but I'm only just sorting through my photos as I'm way behind.

This was the first year with an SLR camera and we were still experimenting with settings to get the best result in this sort of enviroment, but I really liked some of the results.

I'm afraid I didn't get names for them all. I've got better since then of snapping the tags as well as the orchids.

Thanks Bill and Sonya. It was one of those days where I just spent hours looking at all the wonderful orchids. Poor hubby... but at least he got to play with his new toy (camera) :)

Really nice photos, Rosie. My favs are the bulbo and the phrag. Hubby did a good job with a new camera. Taking good photos at shows isn't easy. Seems someone is always setting off a flash just as I shoot. LOL
