Odcdm Midnight Parentage
 

I've been unable to locate any background information on this plant. Does anyone what the cross is or have any gen tree info.

I found Odcdm Aka's Midnight in OrchidWiz: Oncostele Aka's Midnight (Oncostele Midnight Miracles x Oncidium Sharry Baby)

Could this be the one?

It's possible. It's labeled Odcdm Midnight 'Ebony & Ivory'. I have Orchidwiz Express, but the plant you found does not have a picture. This one should be almost black with a white edge on the lip. Mine hasn't bloomed as yet. Here's a picture I found on the internet. Does it look like the one you found?

it's now known as Cyrtocidium Midnight (Oncidium schroederianum x Cyrtochilum edwardii)

Sorry. Neither Ctd or Odcdm Midnight has a photo in OrchidWiz Encyclopedia. Hoever, the parentage of the two is different.

They are not different. Cyrtochilum edwardii used to be called Odontoglossum edwardii, which is why the cross was originally registered as an Odontocidium. Odcdm Midnight is only mentioned in the RHS database as a synonym for Ctd Midnight.
If there's another cross called Odcdm Midnight, it's not registered.

The 'Ebony and Ivory' clone comes from the original cross registered by Mauna Kea Orchids.
