Looks like Phalaenopsis cornu-cervi. Those "zigzag leaf" are actually the flower stalk.

Definately a Phal of some sort, sorry can't help more than that. As said above the zig-zag leaf is actually the flower spike. Some phals have spikes like that rather than a thin spike.

Most likely Phal Cornu-cervi or mannii. Tough to tell which without some other photos. Looks nice though

My mannii 'black' doesn't have the zig-zag spike, more of a standard straight phal spike. The flowers do look similar.

thats no doubt a raceme(spike) of a phal cornu-cervi. the term is interchangeable for ease and practical purposes but incorrect to call this a spike as it is a raceme.

A raceme is an unbranched, indeterminate inflorescence with pedicellate (having short floral stalks) flowers along the axis.

A spike is a type of raceme with flowers that do not have a pedicel.

so you see there is a difference as the cornu cervi does have pedicellate flowers along the axis which would make it a raceme

:twocents::twocents: thats worth double :waving

I'm weighing in with cornu-cervi or a hybrid of it *G* I think the patterning is a bit unusual for the species, but not impossible? I've seen some pictures of crosses that have the distinctive cornu-cervi spikes.

I'm intrigued: it's not the sort of plant you tend to get without knowing what it is. How did you get it?

I WANT ONE!!! Does anyone know a vendor that sells these type of phals????? Or hyroglyphica? I can't find anything like this available.

OH and I think this specific one is P. amboinensis the cornu-cervi has smaller bracts or petals on the left and right of the flower.
