blooming size = three seedlings stuck together?
Hello,
I recently bought a supposedly blooming size Phrag. besseae, and upon repotting them, my suspicion that it turned out to be 3 individual large seedlings was confirmed. I'm not familiar with buying orchids online and I don't know if this is a common procedure, and whether or not I have reason to contact the company (a big time online seller). Love this forum, but this brought me to finally make an account! Thanks |
I would definitely contact the vendor. You were sold (and paid for) blooming size and that is not what you got. We need to hold vendors accountable.
Just my opinion, of course. |
Agreed.

Unfortunately there are companies that are dishonest. However, I always like to give them the benefit of the doubt. I would certainly contact them and explain what you have discovered. This is the time when they have a chance to redeem themselves (refund, replacement, and apology). Who knows, it might have been an honest mistake.
Please share with us their response. Check out our vendor feedback section here. There are good and not so good reviews of several vendors. We would like to know how you were treated. |
If you paid for blooming size then you should contact the vendor.
I've had ones where multiple were in the pot, even one I am sure was two pieces on the mount (although I couldn't be certain). However in those cases each piece was blooming size so I didn't have reason to complain. |
What vendor is it?
