small dark red antennatum?
 

I saw an orchid that looked exactly like the Antennatum Samurai orchid but maroon in color at a show and now can't find anything like it. I anyone knows the name of one that is like what I have described please share. It's killing me not knowing the name so I can try and buy a division of this plant.

Well, all the dark colored ones I've seen didn't have such long twisted petals as den. samurai does.

Could that be Dendrobium cochliodes? if you are talking about dendrobiums at all. Although it is listed as large sized dendro.

I actually found the plant again, the name is Den. Jairak Little Green x Tangerian. There are actually two different colored flowers on the same plant half some spikes come in a very dark color while others come with a pink color. Very neat.

glad you found it. I think I've seen this at the orchid show in the spring time.
