I have had this since 2007 & happy to say that it's thriving in s/h and flowers every year. I still have not managed to get it to flower on more than 2 canes at a time! Anyone have any tips?

How gorgeous, I LOVE the color!! I've only seen pics of yellow/light orange ones. The orange is so bright, it reminds me of Den unicum.

Yes I like it too! it was given to me in 2007. Pheli helped me identify it. Yes I believe unicum is one of it's parents.

Just checked, yes, unicum is a parent. Now I want one, lol!

It's sooooo beautiful! How tall is it?

That's gorgeous! I have a small one I got from Ching Hua in Feb. that I was just in the process of posting its blooms. Any growing tips would be appreciated. This seemed almost rootless when I got it with the tiniest nubs on the canes and most didn't develop but I got 7 blooms. I'm worried the poor little thing has only developed blooms and no roots! We really like it (hubby too) and I hope it can become vigorous looking like yours.

Nenella it looks like you have another cane in bud? The one cane is putting on such a show, I think that's good for the the next cane to bloom later as it prolongs the bloom time!

YOWZA! That's fabulous!

Eagle eyes Silken! :) yes you are correct there is a third cane with 5 buds on it. All I can say is that they Love lots of water all year round. And Lots of sun - I keep mine drier from end oct to Feb. Start watering normally when I see the buds forming.
In winter I keep my water level much lower. I drew a line on the pot for my 'chid sitters- so they wouldn't overwater when I was away for 8 weeks @ xmas. here's a quick pic.
