Arrived today!
I wasn't expecting these to show up until tomorrow... but here are my new babies!! Nanodes medusae - which has 4 large old growths and 5 new smaller growths, mounted on cork. http://www.orchidboard.com/community...medusae_sm.jpg Phal. braceana - Such a tiny little plant! You can see the little Aerangis project plant hanging next to it... http://www.orchidboard.com/community...raceana_sm.jpg Isabella virginalis - Again, really tiny!! This is the 'basket weave plant' as I always think of it. It was after seeing someone here post a photo of their's that I went looking for this... Thanks to whoever that was!! :) http://www.orchidboard.com/community...sabella_sm.jpg And the Den... the main purpose of this order... Den. jacobsonii - This plant is really pretty - even with its old canes. AND!! I think I see buds forming!! http://www.orchidboard.com/community...obsonii_sm.jpg Den. brymerianum - I had to get this one after seeing its really bright frilly flowers... This one came in spike and has two buds (those bright yellow things in the photo). Here is a link to what they will look like: IOSPE PHOTOS http://www.orchidboard.com/community...erianum_sm.jpg The largest one of the bunch is the Nanodes - I love minis... they fit in so nicely!! :cheer: :bananaslide: :cheer: |
 What a great list! I especially love the Dens :D
Poor Ross...He's gonna keel over! :( |
You know, Sue, that I got the jacobsonii for you and Ross - that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!! Its not just a cool grower, it likes it COLD, it seems... I sure hope those are buds, I can't wait to see its flowers.
