HELP! What is on new phal leaves?
 

Hey! I ordered a new orchid online and a few days later I noticed this on it... What is this? HELP!!! I am so worried.. It is a mature phal. It is on several leaves but on one really bad. Here are the pics.. I am so scared. https://plus.google.com/photos/11414...CKSz_sDeweHRDA

I assume you mean the black areas. I'm not sure what it is but it could be fungus or mold of some kind. If you have physan 20 you could spray with that. If you don't have it use soap and water or alcohol on a paper towel and see if you can just clean it off. I may be benign. Keep it seperated from the other orchids until you see what happens with it.

Could be just physical damage. Can't hurt to use Physan 20.
