Stanhophea spec.
I hope somebody can help with this one. I tried to identify but I'm to unfamiliar with Stanhophea's to indentify it myself.

both the wardii and the oculata look alot like this, especially the wardii.
beautiful blooms. |
Looks like wardii to me.
|
My first guess was wardii as well, but you're right when you say that the oculta looks a lot like it (I had to look it up, lol...).
|
Lovely - great display with the ferns!

It has been repotted after the flowering ended we kept the ferns and other guests. It was rather nice to give 3 inflorences with a week between giving it almost a month of flowering.
|
I don't know what it is but it sure is nice. Does it have a fragrance?

Lol, at first I just saw all the ferns and the one p'bulb, and I thought, "This is no Stan." I then scrolled down and got slapped in the face with the fabulous blooms!
|
Looks like S. greerii, a wardii-like species from Peru. We saw a lot of these come in from Lee Moore during the late 80s; very close to wardii but geographically a wrong fit.
|
lijkt me inderdaad ook wardii
