Where to buy Lepanthes in Europe
 

Hello everybody :hello
I am new to this forum so I hope this is the correct place to post this.
I would like to buy Lepanthes tsubotae, Lepanthes telipogoniflora, Lepanthes quadricornis or Lepanthes calodictyon. Does anybody selling them in England or EU?

Try going to a show where Ecuagenera will show up. They always bring Lepanthes spp.

Lepanthes are hard to find over here. I don't think that there are any growers that have some permanently on catalogue, they seemt o have some once in a while. Other than waiting for big shows where Ecuagenera goes like Philip suggests, you could also keep an eye on ebay.

I know that somehere from the UK got a Lepanthes calodictyon in a glass bubble from the London Orchid show, I believe it was from Ecuagenera. So if you can wait until March, that's probably your best bet.

Yes, go to the Ecuagenera web site and check their show dates.If you can't go yourself, or have someone pick up for you, they can (generally) ship them for you. I have bought both my telepogoniflora and calodyction from them, and couldn't be happier with the quality.

Try finding a show where Orquideas del Valle shows up, they have a few too.

That was me, but it was from Orquideas del Valle who were also at the London Orchid show in March. I think the glass bubbles are their thing, the lady there told me they had come up with the idea and had them made by a glass blower they knew.

I don't know where you can get Lepanthes in the UK, unless it's from one of the international shows like the London one. Not sure who (as far as nurseries) goes to Peterborough but that's another big international show in the summer.
