Attention Ray @ First Rays Orchids
Well it seems that people don't seem to be around here too often....not too many posts lately. :( Hopefully you're kicking around here this week! :) I was having a look at your website and like the idea of semi-hydro. I have a container of the clay "marbles" that I never really use. Looks like you are having a lot of success and I am thinking of transferring some of my plants because the humudity is really lacking where I am located and I can't seem to keep about 80% of my plants from looking moisture-sucked lately. I have also sent you an email regarding ordering from your website. I like the clear pots you have and have not been able to find any where I am located, so I am interested in buying a bunch of those especially. Thanks in advance!

Re: Attention Ray @ First Rays Orchids
Give them some time...It's nice outside  It's a new forum, takes a bit of getting used to. New users are slowly coming on board... Everyone seems to be lurking, but they're an unusually shy bunch.

*sigh* yeah that's what I thought Marty. Plus I think it will just take some time any new forum to get going. In the meantime, I am going to try a few and see what happens. :) I have tried a few Phal's in Gemma Stones with good success, but they are a little pricey. I think the clay marbles will be just as good and they are waaaaay less money.

Well.... I'm here, but I don't see a question in your post.

I wanted to know where you guys are located and to find out what it would cost me to get some of those clear pots from you? What would be the shipping/handling for me here in Canada? Is there a minimum order? Talk to you soon!

Clear pots - the benefits are plain to see!
Been experimenting with some Phals in them. So far the plants seem to perform better - you know........it promotes healthy roots by allowing filtered light into the root ball and simulates a more natural growing condition. Plus, you can see what is going on in the pot. Going to switch all my phals to clear, as they need repotting. Haven't tried it with others species yet!
