Vanda Spike Excitement!
This is one of my first Orchids ever. Technically it's my second, after I killed my first (phal). Anywho, I bought it at HD, one of those Better-gro bagged orchids. I didn't have a clue about Vandas, I just thought all orchids were the same.
Well, it's been two years and a lot of trial and error, but I must have been doing something right because she's growing a spike!!!! Finally! Thank you to everyone at OB for all your help! Here are some pics. My camera is on the fritz and the phone is all I had. Ugh, hopefully you can see the little nubbin'--I had it circled, and flipped right side up, but I'm not seeing it. Sometimes photobucket kicks the bucket on me:hmm
