It is growing in a 3" pot and is 12" wide and 5" tall. I forgot to count the flowers but you can see that it likes to bloom and they last for months. The parents are aberrans x atroiolaceum. Most of the color is on the back side of the petals.

and only for the sake of conversation, its now going to be called Den Micro Chip as atroviolaceum v pygmy is now Den normandy(not totally sure about the spelling, but its after Norman Island?) |
Gorgeous!!! :drool: I really love this cross (and the parents too). Wish I could find one here. Interesting that most of the color is in back.

Gorgeous little plant. I have one coming next week. I hope I can keep this one alive. I don't know what I did wrong to the first one. Do these need a lot of water year around?

They do like a lot of moisture. I water my plant two or three times per week. When you consider the small container I guess that is not really a lot.

Now Jerry ..... this is one of those dens that are really worth having (Dens are the shifties in the orchid world) :biggrin: Oooh what a lil beauty this one is though.
