My Clivia, bloom! FINALLY!
2 Attachment(s)
This is the first time this plant has bloomed for me after two years , I'm so excited. I've never had a blooming Clivia :D
|
These are beautiful, Lots of buds on that :cheer:
I don't see these to often in the stores around here but when I do .... They're always covered with mealies, so I leave them there. How are you growing this one? |
Just regular potting soil, on a window sill. Does not get as much sun in the summer time (due to position of sun) as it does in the winter. I try to give it cold nights and warmer days.

Looks pretty good Tindo. Do you know what color it is?
|
Nice growing, Tin!
|
Thanks Tin! Guess I'll just keeping lookin' for a healthy one :)
|
Looking good Tindo .. it could have been that it was never mature enough to bloom . It takes 12 to 14 leaves to mature. I hope the one I gave you gives you a show of flowers, also :) You might have a yellow flowered one there .. it's a nice change from the usual oranges.
Gloria - If you are interested in a clivia .. send me a PM .. |
Thanks Dorothy! You must have been the good luck charm when you came to visit :D
|
