I would like to purchase another orchid. It will be my second. Can you guys recommend a few websites that carry interesting orchid for a reasonable price or a store/stores in NYC?

being that its only your second orchid i would look locally...if for no other reason to save shipping costs.Even tho i have never been there i'm sure that the gift shop at the botanical gardens in the bronx should have some interesting ones

just one word of advice. the WORST thing you can do it to buy just one. they tend to get lonely, and do better in groups of 3 or more ;) :rofl:

The plants at NYBG are nice but way overpriced. If you have a car there are several places 1 to 1 1/2 hrs from NYC. Greenpointer= Greenpoint, Brooklyn?
J&L is having a big sale this weekend and the Deepcut Show in Holmdel is in a few weeks.
