Paphiopedilum Rosy Dawn
 

This Christmas gift was definitely a surprise. I don't grow paphiopedilums, which means that I'm unsure of how to keep it happy. Does anyone know if this qualifies as a "complex hybrid?" I'm way out of my element here, so if anyone has any suggestions on what this plant might like (water, temperature range, light levels, etc.), I would be grateful for your advice.

Google is my friend! according to what I read it is a complex hybrid and a very pretty one :)

I'm with Kim.... I do have some whites but yours is great... any chance you recall where you purchased it?

I would grow it in conditions simular to Phals. Mine is doing fine that way.

Very nice one Steve. I wish I had friends like that. If you have any Phals that would be a good place to start growing it.
