Cymbidium ID?
 

Does anyone know the name of this stunning cymbidium? I bought it as cut flowers for the Thanksgiving table. Spike is 1/2" thick, numerous flowers 4" dia., no fragrance,

wow! it's gorgeous - I don't know if a positive ID is possible - like Phals, there are many hybrids that will look similar.

What a beauty, it must have been beautiful as a table display.

CTB- yes truly spectacular, but it slays me to think these were CUT orchids. The flowers are already beginning to fade.

I have read cyms last pretty well as cut flowers - up to a month I think ? tho they can last 3 months or so on the plant - I'm surprised yours are fading already...

When one buys flowers on the street from a Korean grocer on a cold day, don't be shocked when the flowers fade quickly. Not many flowers survive that treatment.. Gotta say, I don't normally buy orchids this way. They were just so beautiful. A total impulse purchase.
