Identifying this Orchid - Star Shape

Hello! I'm new to the forum and the orchid world, too. Actually, I'm new to having any plant of my own at all, haha..
My first was a mini Phal from Home Depot, then I very recently came across a great selection of amazingly priced orchids at the local farmer's market! Currently I have three Phalaenopsis orchids of different colours and just picked up this new one today which I can't yet identify..I still have a lot to learn.

This is what it looks like:

Could someone please identify it for me?

Thanks so much! :)

Hello and welcome!

It's an Oncidium alliance inter-generic hybrid -
Could be Degarmoara - abbreviated Dgmra.intergeneric hybrids between the orchid genera Brassia, Miltonia and Odontoglossum

or possibly Beallara - abbreviated Bllra. intergeneric hybrids between the orchid genera Brassia, Cochlioda, Miltonia and Odontoglossum

Hi and Welcome to Orchid Board. :welcome:

I agree with WhiteRabbit, it's something in the Oncidium/Odontoglossum alliance, probably a mixture of several genuses.

An exact ID is probably unlikely, but a lot of these are cared for in the same way and that is generally the most important thing to know.

We don't seem to have a care sheet for these on OB, so I'm seeing if I can locate the AOS one for you.

Here we are... two AOS caresheets. Remember yours might be a cross somewhere arround the various types in this alliance.
AOS | Odontoglossum
AOS | Oncidium
