Does anyone know how to care for Laelia anceps or Laelia Santa Barbara Sunset 'Showtime' / Anceps? I want to buy them, and I would like to know about how to care for them before i buy them. thanks!

also, has anyone ever dealt with aripeka1 on ebay before?

Well I can give a little help, I have L. anceps both mounted and potted. They like lot's of light,my mounted ones are outside in full sun year round and my potted ones are under lights. They like to dry out between waterings. One thing I have found is that when you get a spike you need to mist it often as a sticky substance forms on the spike and if not washed off the flowers have trouble opening.

thanks. i heard that its not just misting, its rinsing. so they like to dry out like phals? for your potted one, what kind of medium do you have? can you tell me about your climate?

I've just searched for "anceps" in the search option and have gotten some good info as well- searching first is a great way to see if other topics about things have already been made.
