Cattleya velutina
 

Last year, a friend in California, Yoshi Nomura, kindly hosted an article I wrote on this beautiful species http://www.notsogreenthumb.org/orchi...a_velutina.pdf
One of the photos in the article shows a set of four young seedlings I had just repotted at that time (Feb-09). The blooming plant below is one of the those young seedlings (two other of the same set are also in bloom).
