Dendrobium nobile ? please ID

Many years ago, my now husband, bought this orchid for me. It was beautiful and I was able to get it rebloom three times. Then, I killed it.

It had very dainty lovely flowers, with a mild but very pleasant scent. Luckily, he was into photography and we have some pictures.

If anybody can identify what exactly this was, I would very much like to find another one like it.

Thanks for your help,
Pinar

You had a nobile hybrid. I have one with the same colors as yours but slightly different color patterns and intensity called Den. Angel Smile 'Kibi'

I think you may have a tough time finding an exact match... good hunting!

*** You know, after typing this, I did a fast search and found something that looks much closer to yours call Dend. Fancy Angel 'Lycee' that I found here: Forestview Gardens, Orchids for Sale - Dendrobium Nobile Hybrids

Looks like it could be Dendrobium Brazil, but again there are many hybrids that look alike.

Fancy Angel 'Lycee'

I think Fancy Angel 'Lycee' is right. I kind of remember that on the label now.

Thank you so much.

I have one almost 3 feet tall that just lost its last bloom after 10 months of beauty! I live in Louisiana, and my orchids love the humidity here (unlike me!) This is the tag on the pot it came in..."D. Angel Smile "Kibi".
Thanks for sharing.

I have a kiki that I planted about 6 months ago and is doing fine. This is my first "transplant" and am happy with the success. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks

Mclyle,
Thank you. Following the ID here, I actually bought a plant a few months ago. It's doing great. I learned a few things about orchids over the years, so hopefully I won't kill this one.
Congrats on your transplant. I'd like to try that at some point.

Dendrobium offer

Pinar,
I am glad you found another and wish you much success with it. I believe I found out how to remove a kiki from You Tube. I'm fairly new to what Orchid Board offers as far as videos go, but will be glad to assist in directions for removing one for transplant if and when the time comes.
McLyle
