laminar flow hood glove box I built
 

High everyone! I just thought I would show the new laminar flow hood box that I built. I just did a few crosses and want to get into breeding orchids so Im going with this. Cost me nothing to build since I got the flow box from my dad. I found the plastic water storage tank in the garbage. It lined up perfect so why not. The air draws in through a blower fan out the back and comes in through the the filter you are seeing. I already flasked some agar just to see if it had any contamination in the flask. Its already been three weeks and everthing looks great. I just wanted to show people how you can do a micro breeding lab of your own for cheap.

I cant wait to try somthing like that.

are you use HEPA filter for this laminar....

yes arief, this box puts out 99.98 % clean air. about the same grade in a surgrey room in a hospital. they also use this same grade in orchid breeding labs
