Oncidium kiki???
 

I was wondering if an oncidium can send off a kiki? Ive had this plant for about 3 montns and just noticed that one of the p-bulbs is developing a new p-bulb at the top. The one root is about 2 1/2 inches long and the other is just starting out and is about 1/2 inch long.

yup looks like a keiki to me

you do have a keiki! these most often occur on leafless bulbs but they can occur this way. some members say to take them off when there is 4 inches total of roots but i say 6 because it has the advantage of more roots!

That is the strangest thing I have ever seen! I had no clue that oncs where capable of producing keikis. Looks like I learned something new!
