Compared with B. nodosa, this species tends to have more blooms in a spike. The blooms also fragrant at nightime.

The plant is mounted but it is also do well grown in coarse medium.

My brassavola perrini has bllomed several times this year. I have never detected any fragrance, but maybe it does it while I am sleeping. It has developed some seed pods. Now it has two.
