bulbophyllum that doesnt need high humidity and can handle 40F cold?

I have a lot of frustration with this genus and it angers me everytime I grow them. They have messy growth pattern that take up space, they rot pretty easily for me despite being a thirsty diva for some reason.
Anyone have a tolerant Bulbo suggestion?

There are quite a few higher-elevation Bulbos that grow outside for my quite well, and monted. Just for a start, consider Bulb. frostii, Bulb. hirundinis, Bulb. pardalotum. All can bloom several times a year, do well mounted (daily watering, but they certainly dry out during the day) Bulb. lasiochilum is also a likely candidate. I grow all of these outside, mounted. Soastal southern California. They get winder lows to 40 deg F or occasionally lower.
