I found snippets on the YouTube channel "ExpertVillage Leaf Group". Unfortunately it looks like they have hundreds of playlists and I cannot figure out which playlist these videos are in.

Does anyone know who this is so I could do some more searching to find more of his videos?

Here's a picture if you don't want to go to the video.

Well, this thread may see me answering my own questions.

I found out who he was:

"Amherst, Dr. William “Bill” Hutchinson [passed in 2014...] Bill [...] received his associate’s degree from The Stockbridge School of Agriculture, his B.A. in biology and master’s in microbiology from Clark University, and his Ph.D. in botany from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Bill was a founder of the Amherst Orchid Society and served as the Dean of Sciences at Holyoke Community College, positions in which his vast knowledge of horticulture played an integral role."

Some of the videos credit Christian Munoz-Donoso as the videographer.

I found a few more snippets on YouTube. If anybody knows of where I can find the full length videos I would be appreciative but I will continue my search…

Search OB for 'Amherst.' I can't remember who, but people from that society post their annual Show here. Somebody there might know.

Hi Folks:
Dr. Bill (Hutchinson) was a beloved Professor former member of the Amherst Orchid Society (AOS) since the early 1980s. I'm still a member of AOS and we miss hm dearly. Oddly I never knew he was on youtube. (huh?) But in person he was quite a character and had encyclopedic knowledge of nearly everything botany. He passed away pre-Covid, though of the top of my head, I don't remember the specific year. Sorry you all did not have a chance to meet him in person.
Thanks for providing the youtube reference.
Kind regards to all,
Maryanne
