An actual, old school book about Orchids
 

Hello,

I'm brand new to orchids and I'm reading a lot on this forum and other orchid sites, however, I miss a good book on the subject. We have a once empty vivarium with eight miniature orchids, six mounted and two potted, with plans to add more as we learn more. We like mounted miniature orchids most at this point.

Is there a book about miniature orchids (not a coffee table books with just pretty pictures) that you can recommend for use by a beginner to intermediate aspiring orchid grower?

Not specific to miniatures (but same author). For general orchid culture and lots of very specific information (down to species level) I strongly suggest the American Orchid Society Guide to Orchids and their Culture
