Ohba Orch, Oncidium Nanboh Waltz
Dear Folks,
I believe I have an Oncidium Nanboh Waltz that was one of the first orchids I ever bought, and I believe it was my only Oncidium to survive Hurricane Michael, school and the years of neglect thereafter. (I think it’s in bud right now. I’ll post a photo in the comments). Anyway, I just noticed Ohba Orch registered this hybrid and I was wondering if anyone could help me find any info on them. Like, does Ohba Orch have a website? Are they still making hybrids? Who are/were they? I’m still impressed even if this Oncidium doesn’t turn out to be Nanboh Walz. Seems like a good hybrid and I wanted to read more about who made it. Thanks, David ---------- Post added at 10:32 PM ---------- Previous post was at 10:27 PM ---------- Oncidium in bud. Probably my Nanboh Waltz. https://i.postimg.cc/BnW88Srt/image.jpg |
Orchidwiz has this information:
Ohba Orchids Co Ltd, (Ryoichi Oba), 330 Narabayashi, Kamogawa-city, Chiba-pref., 2001-0002, Japan (If you were using Orchidwiz, you click on one of the icons next to the orig: or reg: (the "heads") to get to the detail of what else the person or company has done) If they have a website, and it turns out to be in Japanese, just engage Google Translate (at least if you're using Chrome... it may even "volunteer" the translation) |
Thank you Roberta! I found what I think is their website! Very nice how you found that for me.
