Here are some current pics of my tent, now illuminated with a measured 100w, and some changes to necessitate better airflow to the ones still potted.

Thanks! Once I put the wire fencing in, I'd like to do some horizontal flats or branches with mixes of mini Catts, broms, and moss. If my Ascocentrum miniatum blooms, I'll definitely be ordering some mini vandas.

If you keep the light bright and keep it close to the light it will grow as little as possible. I truly love the genus so I am a full advocate of you trying it !!!
The flowers change the way you think about flowers. Like so many orchids. |
Yup, here are some close ups of the newest bulbs. The previous only had a rounded growth point at maturity.

The larger ones in clay pots are Red Tigers.
The light green with brown spots is Pauciflora, brown with green spots is Domino, burgundy/olive with pup is Tunisia, and pinkish one at bottom is (Hannibal Lector x ampullacea) x Blushing Tiger. |
