Flower spike starting on Den. Tiny Bubbles?
1 Attachment(s)
I have a Den. Tiny Bubbles, a cross between Den. Maiden Charlotte and Den. aberrans. Den. Maiden Charlotte is a primary cross between Den. rhodostictum and Den. aberrans. This makes Den. Tiny Bubbles to be 75% Den. aberrans and 25% Den. rhodostictum.
A new growth is developing nicely with two leaves... and there's something in the middle. A flower spike? How long does it take to develop? How long does the flower spike get? http://www.orchidboard.com/community...1&d=1606862745 |
It's a flower spike. Development time depends on temperature, watering and humidity, so it's hard to predict.

I don't want to sound pessimistic, I'm in the same boat waiting for some of my Dandrobiums like Atroviolaceum to bloom for the first time, Canes get longer and longer, then thicker and thicker and with every new cane you hope it is the "one" that will make it mature enough. |
