The first two buds opened on my Phal. NoID White Multiflora with Pink Lip on 4 Feb. It was just in time for our orchid society meeting on 13 Feb.; and by the time my phal was judged at our orchid show on 15 Feb., the fourth bud fully opened. These are the pictures I took on the 12th:

This is how it looked after the judging; it took 3rd place!

This how my phal looks today; just three more buds to open and it'll be fully blooming. I hope the ends of the flower spike and branch start developing and thus bloom as well.

That's a nice-looking Phalaenopsis!

All the buds have bloomed as of 13 Mar. 20 except for the very end (terminal end?) of the flower spike and branch.

Thanks, Cheri. To think that I didn't think the blooms were that great when I bought it a couple years ago. I bought it at Kroger as a "Manager's Special" as the blooms were almost completely gone. I almost passed it up but my husband saw the spent blooms and thought it'd be pretty in full bloom and said to buy it anyway. I was completely surprised as to how nice the blooms look and now I'm glad I did buy it.

You got a good flower count out of that one. I love the endless variety of these white phals.

That little bit of fringe on the lip is what pulled me in!

Thanks, Bill. This NoID phal. had nine blooms on the spike and three on the branch. The nine are fading and dropping off while the branch blooms are still hanging in there. I thought the last bud would be a terminal bud on both the spike and branch but it looks like both are starting to swell as if they're thinking about blooming. This is the first time the phal. bloomed since I bought it just before Christmas in 2017, so I don't know if it's a sequential bloomer or not.

Yes, I, too, was taken by the fringe... but not just that but the ever so slight faint pink veining down the middle of each petal and sepal. It's more distinct on the back side of the bloom. I've wondered what species and hybrids went in to make this phal. Too bad the orchid nursery which supplied Kroger with the phal. didn't have an identification tag for it other than phalaenopsis or moth orchid; it's mass-processed so I can water it with an ice cube (Yeah, right!) and buy another one.
