Den Micro Chip x ?
1 Attachment(s)
I lost the tag to this plant. I know it was a micro chip back crossed with a parent. I feel that is was aberrans since the spotting seems to be less than a micro chip. Also, if it was atro, I think there would be more purple inside the lip.
What are your thoughts? |
If you're sure it's Micro Chip back-crossed to either aberrans or normanbyense (which looks similar to atroviolaceum), your plant definitely leans more toward aberrans, making it D. Nano Chip

Thank you Ray.
I know it was a parent cross. I was pretty sure it was aberrans, but not positive. On the normanbyense and atroviolaceum, are they not considered atroviolaceum now? Would normanbyense be a variety? |

Okay. It's the other way around. So the Micro Chip was bred with the atro variety, which later became the normanbyense.

It looks very much like Nano Chip. Soft spotting on the front, light spotting on the back, yellow labellum. I sell Nano Chip, Chocolate Chip and Micro Chip - I'm pretty confident it's Nano.
